Nora Aunor Concert LocationApril 29, 2000Newark Symphony Hall Easy ways to get to Newark Symphony HallFrom Holland TunnelTravel on Route 1 and 9 South, Pulaski Skyway, stay in the right lane, follow sign for Raymond Blvd. exit, continue Raymond Blvd. for about 1 mile until you get to Mulberry st., turn left on Mulberry St. and continue for 1/2 mile until you see McDonaldÕs on the left in Chestnut St., make a right, travel for 2 blocks to the traffic light in broad st, make a right and you are there. From Lincoln TunnelTake Route 3 west to Route 21 South, continue on route 21 south until you get to McDonald's on Chestnut St., make a right on Chestnut for 3 blocks to Broad St., make a right to Broad St. and youÕll see Newark Symphony Hall. From Garden State ParkwayGoing north coming from the south, take exit 140 and route 22, take Route 22 and follow signs for Route 21 north, take route 21 north and go over the long bridge, keep going until you see McDonald's on Chestnut St., make a left on Chestnut, go 3 blocks and turn right on Broad St. and youÕre there. From George Washington Bridge/ Lincoln TunnelTake the New Jersey Turnpike South, all the way up to exit 15, follow signs for 280 west, take 280 West, keeping to the right lane until you get to a drawbridge. The far right lane on the drawbridge is your lane. take exit 15 north down to the signal light, make a left turn on this signal light on to Broad St., keep going on to Broad St. for about a mile, passing city hall and the Shuttle Bldg. until you see Newark Symphony Hall on your left. From Interstate 78Take I-78 to clinton ave exit, take this exit and once off the ramp, keep going on to the 4th traffic light, which is Clinton ave, make a right on clinton, look for a sign at the intersection, direct towards downtown north, keep going on clinton off to the 7th traffic light, follow the right turn arrow on to lincoln park, go to the next signal light and make a left turn on Broad St., 2 blocks on the right side of Broad St. is the hall. Public Transportation New Jersey/New York City/points beyondTake the path am track or new jersey transit to north penn station, from penn station, Newark, take bus 70 to the corner of Broad st. and Lincoln Park Symphony Hall is across the street. ParkingSafe, well lighted, secure parking... is available at several commercial parking lots very close to the hall for $7. |
